Gina's Kapolei: Flavorful Hawaiian Cuisine with Generous Portions

Food was delicious. My fiance, son and I tried it once and had to come back again before leaving the island. We tried the fried chicken, bugolgi plate, kalbi and meat Jun combo and bibimbap. All very good. Huge portions and friendly service. 100% recommend.

So happy Gina’s opened a Kapolei location. Always loved their family packs. It is a good value and the food is consistently tasty. Meat Jun is my favorite! There are still so many side dishes to choose from.

Great food and service. Came during the Sunday lunch rush and the food still came out quick in my opinion. We had the kalbi and meat jun combo and shrimp katsu mini. Mini and regular sizes fed us pretty well.

Was staying at a friend's im Ewa Beach. Craving some kalbi so I stopped here. The kalbi was sooo delicious and you get a generous portion with sides (ordered the regular kalbi plate). Would definitely recommend. Service was super quick and employees were very, very friendly.

Called a bit before they closed, and the guy was nice enough to still take my order. When I showed up, he even let me eat inside. Food was delicious and stacked to the brim. Great spot, definitely coming back. The kal bi was great.

Gina’s is ALWAYS my first stop when coming back home to visit my family. They have the BEST chicken katsu, meat jun and sides - love that there’s always so many fresh options of sides. The staff are excellent and always have a smile on their face. Everything about Gina’s is perfect. If I didn’t gain weight I would legit eat this everyday! Highly recommend!

So this place, located in a strip mall in Kapolei, has the Grindz (Hawaiian for amazing food)! My colleague took me here and wasn’t sure what to expect. It’s Korean-Hawaiian and is very similar to how Panda Express operates, but with gigantic portions. The owner and staff are super friendly and efficient and the menu has a ton to choose from. The Bonchon selection is huge, leaving you with a dilemma of what to pick. Food is solid! I went with the Kalbi with a side of Mac Salad and greens. Simply delicious, all of it! If you find yourself in Kapolei and want some authentic Hawaiian fare, visit this low key joint! It’s super casual and it’s a quick meal, but it’s the Grindz!!!

I am absolutely amazed with Gina’s. The price is right for the amount of food you get - one combo will feed 2-3 people. I’ve never seen a To-go box close at this place. Always 2-3 rubber bands to keep the lid down! And the food...truly amazing. I’ve never seen Kalbi short ribs so big in my life - they looked like steaks! Order ahead and be happily surprised that my review still couldn’t do Gina’s justice. Definitely eat here, you’ll be amazed too!
